He has over 30 years of experience in senior human resource management and leadership development in a wide range of industries spanning firms including SCM, NBC, Pitney Bowes, Preferred Health Care and McGraw-Hill. He has developed a reputation as an insightful and trusted advisor to top management who is able to coach leaders though complex, challenging talent performance situations. Chuck is also an Adjunct Professor at the Jack Welch School of Business at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut where he teaches leadership, global workforce management as well as diversity and inclusion.

Les Martel PhDLes is a highly experienced and insightful HRD consultant and executive coach. He has an extensive background executive assessment, feedback, and coaching as well as designing and delivering customized senior management and leadership development programs.

Les brings experience as a leader and consultant to all of his coaching engagements. His background includes experience as the head of global learning and performance for the Instinet Corporation, the world’s largest global electronic securities broker. There he designed, developed, and deployed the corporate-wide learning platform, linking selection, talent development, performance management, and succession planning with the key business initiatives.

He has also served as a senior consultant to DDI and Downey-Kates International, two premier strategic human resources development consultancies. He has led a range of assessment and coaching engagements with leaders at all levels and across a variety of industries

Marlyn Puder-York, PhD

Marilyn Puder-YorkMarilyn is a clinical psychologist who specializes in coaching senior executives and professionals striving for excellence.  She is also a consultant to CEO’s, senior executives and human resource professionals providing assistance in their management of special behavioral issues in the workplace.

In addition to her work as a psychologist, Dr. Puder-York was a corporate Vice President at Citicorp heading their Employee Assistance Program for over ten years.  Through her experience in her executive-centered practice and as a corporate executive herself, Dr. Puder-York brings a practical bottom-line business orientation and perspective to her work with corporate-sponsored individual executive coaching.

Cecilia Carter

Cecilia CarterCecilia Carter is a trendsetting strategist, change artist and curator of people. Dedicated to making change happen at work and our communities by helping women lead impactful and fearless lives. An accomplished corporate affairs executive, her experience in both the public and private sectors across many diverse industries including retail, financial, consumer brands and entertainment, make her uniquely positioned to provide strategic counsel both personally and professionally.

Prior to launching The Strategy Chick, a boutique coaching firm, Ms. Carter was Vice President of HR Communications for PepsiCo where she led communications and PR for human resources and diversity. Before joining PepsiCo, Ms. Carter led the community, diversity and government relations teams as Vice President / Global Head of Diversity for Starbucks Corporation and General Manager of the Starbucks Foundation. Additionally, Ms. Carter developed Starbuck’s diversity change management strategy.

Ms. Carter was also head of community affairs at UBS, where she lead the company’s philanthropic and community outreach. Earlier in her career, she worked in BursonMarstellar’s corporate consultancy specializing in corporate reputation management, public affairs and multicultural marketing. Ms. Carter also served as Senior Vice President of Communications for GE Small Business Solutions. During her 12-year tenure with GE, she managed and counseled on corporate campaigns, marketing and internal communications and also served on GE’s Corporate Marketing Council.

Ms. Carter currently serves as a Board Member for the University of New Haven and is a former Director for the Southwestern Connecticut chapter of the Urban League. Her past service includes Chair Woman, Committee for the Association of National Advertisers, Executive Director of the Rhythm & Blues Foundation, and a member of the corporate council for Hands On Network, the world’s largest volunteer agency.

She has been featured in numerous publications including Black Enterprise, Fast Company and Savoy Magazines as one of the top 100 influential African American women in corporate America. Ms. Carter holds degrees from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University. She is a certified iPEC ELI-MP coach. She received an honorary Doctorate of Human Letters from University of New Haven and served as the Commencement speaker at their January 2010 graduation ceremony.

Cecilia now resides in New Rochelle, NY with her husband and children.
